ANNAH KURIAKOSE, MD, MTS, MA
I'm Annah—a teacher, physician, and social entrepreneur working at the intersection of education, health, and faith, particularly for marginalized communities.
My work spans classroom teaching in the Mississippi Delta and Newark, NJ; public health leadership; and faith-based youth ministry. I regularly consult and present for schools, churches, and non-profits. I have a particular passion for curating curricula that supports physical, mental, and spiritual health.
Aside from degrees in education and medicine, I hold a Master's in Theological Studies from Princeton Theological Seminary, where I created More Than Core, a faith-informed curricular supplement piloted in Newark public schools. I am a 2025-2027 Interfaith America Sacred Journey Fellow, and the author of the children's book Come Near To Me.
Currently, I serve as Associate Director for a health research center at Rutgers University. I am also a board member for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NJ) and the T. Thomas Fortune Foundation.
I spend most of my time thinking about what it means to be human and healthy.
